Privacy Policy
Intelli-Expense is private by architecture. It does not operate an account service, advertising service, analytics service, or third-party backend.
Data the app handles
The app stores the receipts you import or scan, the fields you confirm, folder organization, and extraction evidence needed to explain or review a result. This information stays on your devices and, when iCloud sync is available, in your private iCloud database.
On-device processing
Receipt recognition uses Apple's Vision and Foundation Models frameworks on the device. Receipt images and text are not sent to the developer or to a third-party AI service.
iCloud sync
If enabled and available, Apple's CloudKit service syncs app data through your private iCloud account. Apple provides and governs that service under its own terms and privacy policy. Intelli-Expense makes no other network connections.
Local agent bridge
The Mac app can expose an app-owned local folder so a tool you choose can prepare receipt files and structured sidecars. This bridge uses the local filesystem only. External tools cannot write directly to the app database; the app validates every drop and remains the sole persistence writer. Any privacy behavior of a tool you separately choose is governed by that tool.
Tracking and sharing
Intelli-Expense does not track you, profile you, sell data, serve ads, or share receipt data with the developer or data brokers.
Your control
You can edit or delete receipts and folders in the app. Removing the app and its iCloud data through Apple's system controls removes the data under those controls. Export happens only when you explicitly create and share an export package.
